Michael Jackson dead:The world waits for answers
It is expected today that the post-mortem examination will take place on the body of pop star Michael Jackson, who died in Los Angeles at the age of 50.

Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 pm PDT (2126 GMT) after arriving at a Los Angeles hospital in full cardiac arrest, stated Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. The cause of death could not be certain and an autopsy would likely take place on Friday, he said.

Jackson was renting the luxurious property in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles for $100,000 (£61,000) a month.

Brian Oxman, lawyer and Jackson family spokesman, said he had vexations about the singer’s condition, disclosing that Jackson, 50, had been taking medication as he was gettting ready for his comeback.

Jackson was born in Gary in 1958 and started his career as a member of the “Jackson Five” before accomplishing even greater fame as a solo artist. Famous for most of his life, he sold millions of records and set infinite trends in music, dance as well as fashion. His biggest hits were released earlier in his career, including the album Thriller, which was released back in 1982 and is the biggest selling album of all-time.
